So, you're on the Caribbean and want to enjoy some fun activities on the water...
EVERYTHING (I really mean it) can be accessed from Playa's main beaches....scuba, snorkel, parasail, catamaran, seakayaking, jet skis, paddle boarding, something with a surfboard and a parachute in addition to sandcastle building, swimming, body surfing, fishing, ferrying to Cozumel....
There is no need to schedule before you leave home - in many cases you can decide the day of your activity or moments before. Be sensible and follow instructions and you will have an enjoyable and memorable day of adventure.
If you are an experienced diver, go to Cozumel for world class snorkeling on one of the world's premier reefs. The rest of us get along just fine in Playa or a day trip down to Tulum or Akumal for tamer underwater experiences.
